E.R.M.E. (Etudes et Réalisation de
Matériels et d’Equipements – Machinery
and Equipment Design and Development).
ERME designs, manufactures and commercialises
its own products in various sectors of activity.
The company currently has three different sectors of activity
:
Road trailers and semi-trailers (MASSO)
Manufacture of a comprehensive range of vehicle-
and equipment-carrier trailers and semi-trailers suited to
specific needs.
Custom products, from 1 Tonne to 65 Tonnes
Gross Permitted Vehicle Weight offering numerous solutions
to your transport problems (manufacture of cable drum carriers,
swimming pool carriers, box carriers, boat trailers, vehicle
trailers, handling trolleys, etc.).
The Masso make was created 50 years ago in
Toulouse to develop and manufacture road trailers and semi-trailers.
In 1982, the CAREAC company, specialised in the manufacture
of farm trailers, took over MASSO and delocalised its production
to Montégut-Arros in the Gers. In 1995, in order to
diversify its activities and increase its production capacity,
ERME took over CAREAC and, consequently, the Masso brand.

Today, ERME manufactures a major range
of vehicles- and equipment-carrier trailers and semi-trailers
suited to specific needs.
Garlic farming mechanisation (ERME)
Worldwide leader in the manufacture of machines
designed for mechanizing garlic growing.
Study, design and manufacture of garlic splitters, mechanical
and pneumatic planters, single- and multi-row harvesters (binders
and toppers), and cleaner-graders.
Farm trailers (ERME)
Manufacture of a comprehensive range of trailers
designed for farm transport purposes. Production of monocoque
grain and grape trailers, removable stake trailers, high-lift
trailers, animal feed trailers, spreaders, multi-body trailers.
